Storage Solutions Architect

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Storage Solutions Architect to join our team in France. As a key member of our Storage team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing storage solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our product and field teams to enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy data workloads on AWS infrastructure.
- Design best-in-class storage infrastructure solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles.
- Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.
- Work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions.
- Thought Leadership - Evangelize and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
- Develop and support an AWS internal community of related subject matter experts.
- Previous experience in designing/building/maintaining Storage environments.
- Highly technical and analytical, with significant experience of software development and/or IT and storage and networking implementation, including security and compliance.
- Advisory/consulting experience, including some experience with global accounts and large commercial customers.
- Business fluent English and French.
- Proven experience with IT network architectures, including layers and protocols (Ethernet, BGP, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VPN, VLAN...).
- Professional experience architecting/operating cloud solutions.
- Understanding of AWS Storage Services such as S3, Glacier, Elastic File System (EFS), AWS Storage Gateway (SGW), and Snowball.
- Understands the role that networking plays in complex storage architectures.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
- The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
- Familiarity with AI/ML and how Storage technology is leveraged for modern data solutions.
