About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Line Controller to join our team in Electro-Optic Materials. As a Business Line Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and analytical support to the Infra-Red Solutions business line, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the business line in the execution of its strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis process for the IR Solutions business line, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance: Report and analyze financial performance, providing insights, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Business Partnering: Partner with operational teams to develop, maintain, and enhance performance measurement through material flows, cost models, production accountability dashboards, etc.
- Systems Management and Cash Management: Manage financial risk and compliance within the IR Solutions business line, ensuring adherence to Group and BU policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Master's degree in economics or equivalent through experience.
- Validated first experience (>5 years) of dynamic challenges in controlling.
- Profound knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- Analytical mind with the ability to understand and tackle sophisticated problems.
- Accurate and structured worker with flexibility and sense of initiative.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English. Understanding and speaking French and/or Dutch is a nice plus.
- Willingness to travel abroad (max. 10% of your time).
