We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our team at GE Renewable Energy. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering activities of our projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Manage global project schedules, ensuring coherence between engineering activities and other project functions.
- Ensure timely delivery of design to stakeholders, including Partner documents.
- Lead and coordinate design teams, and support PED and Project I&I manager in engineering change management.
- Participate in project multidisciplinary design reviews and contribute to project strategy elaboration.
- Analyze customer technical requirements, prepare clause-by-clause analysis, and ensure compliance to Customer requirements.
- Validate design throughout customer acceptance and check consistency of engineering documents.
- Check effectiveness of design against delivery of contract requirements within project budget.
- Integrate EHS requirements and deploy HAZID sessions at different project phases.
- Approve technical evaluation of offers from suppliers and support Procurement during commercial negotiation.
- BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent education.
- Exposure to several applicable engineering disciplines.
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management in a multi-disciplinary team's context.
