Credit Risk Specialist

Based in the heart of Paris, our office offers a unique blend of luxury and functionality, with easy access to public transportation.
The Enterprise Credit and Global Banking Risk team is part of the EMEA Enterprise Credit Risk function, with operations in London, Dublin, and Paris.
This role is responsible for credit approval and portfolio performance, working closely with senior ECGBR colleagues to support the portfolio and Enterprise Credit (1st line of defence credit team) in supporting our European client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing credit proposals and new transactions, sanctioning exposure/limits for portfolio clients within appropriate risk parameters under delegated authority.
- Providing feedback to GCIB Credit/GMC (Enterprise Credit) on new client/transaction screenings to influence outcomes in line with credit risk limits, including appropriate transactions structures.
- Building and maintaining portfolio-level reporting routines to cover key movements in portfolio sensitivities, exposure changes, and credit rating migrations.
Involvement in regulatory deliverables and other ad-hoc legal entity tasks requiring credit risk input.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Solid familiarity with product suite, including loan and derivative products, and legal documentation (facility agreement, ISDA/CSA, GMRA, GMSLA).
- Experience of discussing multi-faceted structures with corporate and investment banking, sales, and trading.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software for presentations.
