Job Description

About the Role

Egis is seeking a highly skilled Hydrogen Expert to join our team in the creation of a new Hydrogen service within our Service Line Eau et Energie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting precise studies, particularly on technical aspects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Studies:
    • Define technologies that meet performance and industrial criteria.
    • Perform infrastructure and equipment sizing, and determine optimal operating conditions.
    • Consider regulatory constraints.
    • Manage technical and economic studies of various solutions, taking into account project constraints (needs, planning, budget, etc.).
    • Conduct tests and studies.
    • Evaluate and analyze mass and energy balances.
    • Prepare P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagram) schemes.
  • Technical Support and Continuous Improvement:
    • Support EGIS teams, particularly commercial teams, in their tasks (prospection, pre-sales, sales, client and partner solicitations) by providing technical expertise.
    • Develop tools for sizing and designing hydrogen infrastructure (across the entire value chain), covering technical, practical, economic, and regulatory aspects.
    • Conduct project reviews to gather concrete feedback and refine the group's calculation tools.
  • Technological, Commercial, and Strategic Watch:
    • Consult and challenge main component suppliers for hydrogen systems and e-fuels, as well as associated service offers.
    • Contribute to the realization of technological and commercial watches on the latest advancements in several hydrogen domains (production, storage, e-fuels, etc.).

Requirements

  • A solid technical background in the hydrogen sector.
  • A strong expertise in e-fuels, industrial processes, gases, and fluids.

Additional Information

Short and medium-term travel, both in France and abroad, is expected.
