Job Title: Livestock Facilities and Equipment Analyst

The Chambre d'Agriculture plays a pivotal role in aiding the agricultural sector through its economic, social, and environmental transformations.

Become a part of a dedicated team of 45 livestock advisors at the Chambre d'Agriculture de Bretagne.

Within this team, three study officers focus on livestock facilities and equipment. They deliver technical and economic insights, support livestock producers, and engage in initiatives addressing climate change, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, labor conditions, and animal welfare.

  • Livestock Facilities and Equipment Analyst (85% workload)
  • Assist in developing guidelines related to livestock facilities and equipment
  • Share knowledge with livestock producers
  • Engage in regional facility committees
  • Provide expert advice on facility projects
  • Contribute to training initiatives
  • Support colleagues with expertise in facilities and equipment
  • Agricultural Building Consultant (15% workload)
  • Advise on innovative facility projects
  • Design cutting-edge agricultural buildings

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in designing livestock facilities
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies
  • Familiarity with dairy farming practices
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Teaching and training capabilities
  • Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and initiative
  • Effective listening skills

Employment Conditions:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Location: Vannes with travel requirements
  • Salary range: 28 K€ to 41 K€ annually
