About the Role
PUR Projet is seeking a seasoned product management professional to lead the development and commercialization of our nature-based solutions product suite. As VP, Product, you will be responsible for identifying strategic product priorities, managing the development lifecycle, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global team in the evolution of our product suite, ensuring alignment with company strategy and best practices.
- Monitor policy, frameworks, and industry initiatives to inform product design and engagement strategies.
- Develop and execute strategies to engage with global stakeholders, including policy makers, industry leaders, and clients.
- Manage contract and agreement workflow with the Legal Team, ensuring the protection of PUR Projet's interests.
- Support the growth and development of the product team through mentorship, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Provide an empowering work environment that attracts top industry talent and supports the commercial team's growth.
Requirements
- Masters level degree in a discipline related to nature-based solutions or environmental markets.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in product development, evaluation, or certification of nature-based solutions.
- Experience engaging with diverse industry stakeholders, including corporates, impact investors, grant financers, Government, NGOs, academia, and certification bodies.
- Knowledge of product management best practices and a strong sense of accountability for product quality and commercial success.
- Strong analytical skills, with a drive to stay on top of market trends and developments, and ability to provide insights based on relevant indicators.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing international business, in a rapidly evolving market.
- Skilled collaborator with experience developing strategic partnerships across the industry, with clear and measurable outcomes.
- Experience working in an international setting and effective management of global teams.
- Robust people management and change management skills, with highly structured and effective communications skills.
- Full working proficiency in English is required, with working proficiency in French or Spanish considered an asset.
Travel Requirements
Regular travel to the main PUR Projet offices (Paris/Toronto), with occasional travel to project regions and participation in global conferences, industry working groups, and client team collaborations.
