Job Summary

The MARCHE DE PHALEMPIN is seeking a skilled Technician - Endive Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical department, you will play a vital role in supporting our producers and ensuring the success of our endive operations.

  • Produce Optimization: Assist and support producers in optimizing their endive production and installations, providing valuable advice to improve yields and quality.
  • Producer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for a group of producers, managing all interactions with the cooperative and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Technical Leadership: Organize and lead technical discussion groups, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices among producers.
  • Field Visits: Conduct regular visits to producers to promote key technical guidelines, provide on-site support, and evaluate production capacities.
  • Data Analysis: Evaluate producers' production capacities, crops, and production periods, and analyze this data for the commercial department to inform business decisions.
  • Administrative Support: Facilitate the administrative processes of members within the cooperative, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Traceability: Maintain accurate records of assigned plots, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on your overall activities, providing valuable insights to inform business strategy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in agriculture or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of crops, diseases, and pests.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Certiphyto certification is a plus.
