Job Description

As a Regulatory Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of reports and declarations submitted to regulators. You will play a key role in interpreting regulations, transposing them into business requirements, and managing regulator requests and audits.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company in groups such as ISDA, AMAFI, FSA, etc., and ensure regular monitoring of market best practices.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into Business Requirements Definitions adapted to the company's workflows and data models.
  • Categorize and document different reporting schemes.
  • Improve data quality, enable clear audit trails, and rapid interpretations.
  • Strengthen the working framework in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Analyze regulator requests.
  • Collaborate with IT and operational teams.
  • Write detailed and quantified responses to regulators, under the supervision of the compliance department.
  • Develop an action plan if necessary, and coordinate it until its completion, including IT improvements or operational processes, and if necessary, reissue data.
  • Escalation point for internal questions.
  • Regulatory Reporting Expertise.
Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in regulatory reporting, financial markets, or project management in a regulated environment.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory reporting systems, data flow understanding, and audit tools.
  • Analytical and synthesis capacity.
  • Rigour and organizational sense.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with various departments (IT, compliance, operations) and regulators.
