In this role, you will oversee the administrative, accounting, and financial management of Property & Casualty and Life reinsurance portfolios within your designated area.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the underwriting team to process and document contractual information
- Monitoring, verifying, and processing reinsurance accounts from ceding companies
- Ensuring compliance with contractual terms
- Advising cedents and facilitating the production and transmission of reinsurance accounts
- Managing settlements and overseeing financial transactions to ensure efficient cash flow
Your Path to Success:
To excel in this position, you should possess 5-7 years of technical experience in insurance/reinsurance accounting, along with a solid grasp of insurance principles. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication with team members and external stakeholders. Your ability to efficiently utilize computer tools and manage data systems will be critical for maintaining accurate reinsurance records.
