Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Aqualung Group. As a key member of our Regulators & Rebreathers development team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our innovative dive gear products.

• Contribute to the development of new products and the sustaining of our current range, from product specification to first serial production.
• Lead the mechanical designers in the team to ensure deliverables are met within the required timeframe.
• Redact product specifications, design and sustain components and assemblies on Solidworks, and create 2D drawings.
• Manage prototypes manufacture, setup test plans, and BOM management.
• Contribute to product technical documentation, work closely with manufacturers teams, and store engineering data.
• Support aftersales with technical expertise and collaborate with purchase department on technical topics with suppliers.

• Masters in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering.
• First successful experience with mechanical design.
• Solidworks CAD knowledge (3D and drawing).
• Knowledge of mechanical design rules applying to machined components and injection molding.
• Fluent in English, able to lead a meeting in English.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
