About the Role
As Mergers & Acquisitions Director for Alstef Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the merger or acquisition process from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and other senior management members to define the profile of acquisition targets and expected outcomes.
- Identify potential acquisition targets, independently or with the support of an M&A banker.
- Evaluate whether targets meet the established requirements.
- Develop comprehensive business cases demonstrating the potential value creation.
- Lead due diligence efforts by coordinating the work of external advisors and internal experts, bringing expertise and a critical eye to the audits.
- Drive the negotiation of acquisition deals.
- Develop and coordinate the construction and rollout of an integration plan post-acquisition.
- Support the integration of acquired businesses and ensure the delivery of expected value creation.
Reporting to the Group's CEO and a member of the Group's Executive Committee, your role will encompass all M&A opportunities across the Group, regardless of their geography (Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific) or business line (parcel, intralogistics, airport). As the Single Point of Contact for all external advisors and acquisition targets, you will actively engage with senior management and internal experts as needed to ensure the M&A process is effectively calibrated and fully supported by the organization.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in mergers and acquisitions, ideally within the industrial automation sector.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
