Job Summary

Job Purpose

Imerys, a world leader in creating specialty solutions that improve everyday life through minerals, seeks a highly skilled IT Support Team Lead Deputy to join its EMEA IT Customer Care service team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to end-users and clients, ensuring a seamless experience and efficient resolution of technical issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and coordinate stakeholders. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backup the France team lead and serve as the primary point of contact for customers, from ticket assignment to successful resolution.
  • Manage incident tickets, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure timely closeout of trouble tickets.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge articles for users and technicians, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other levels of support, including L1, Network, and Infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless support and resolution.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing changes to improve support efficiency and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
  • 3-4 years of experience in senior tech or lead roles, with a strong background in IT help desk practices and frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluent English speaker, with Spanish being an advantage.
