We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Production Lead to join our team at Dreamtek Limited. As a key member of our Technical Production team, you will be responsible for the successful planning, staffing, and delivery of event requests, normally held within fully equipped event spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute event requests, ensuring seamless technical support and delivery.
- Mentor and coach a team of Technical Production technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their technical proficiency.
- Report staff, client, or technical failures to line managers, gathering information required to complete associated fault forms within an agreed SLA time period.
- Ensure a balanced workload is triaged among technical staff, notifying the Technical Production Supervisor of high-priority tasks or events.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, staff, and clients, serving as a liaison between teams.
- Participate in special projects or assignments as outlined by the Technical Production Supervisor, executing them within the given timeline.
- Manage technical risks throughout pre-production planning, execution, and post-event, owning the technical support lifecycle.
- Perform senior technician and technician performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Assist with training of staff, improving their technical proficiency and ensuring they are equipped to handle various event formats.
- 3-5 years of professional technical live event production experience.
- Ability to operate equipment and software to support streaming, Video Conferencing, Local Audio Reinforcement, Video Technologies (including LED walls, monitors, projection, switching, and formatting).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Asset workflow management experience is a plus.
- Understanding and experience of various event formats, including Q&A, training events, town hall meetings, etc.
