Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydroelectric Technician to join our team at the Chassezac Group of Plants. This role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in hydroelectric operations and maintenance within a picturesque natural setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the seamless operation of hydroelectric facilities.
- Diagnose and analyze malfunctions, providing detailed reports on incidents to facilitate corrective actions.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with project teams to oversee the installation of new equipment and systems within the plant.
- Share best practices and technical knowledge with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency and professionalism.
- Prepare comprehensive operational and maintenance documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Coordinate effectively with external service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics.
- Minimum five years of proven experience in hydroelectric operations or industrial maintenance environments.
- In-depth understanding of hydroelectric power generation systems, electrical and electromechanical components.
- Proficiency with industrial automation systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a commitment to safety and quality.
