Project Buyer Role

As a Project Buyer at TMC, you will be responsible for leading and managing purchasing activities, including sourcing, planning, production part approval process, tooling investments, and Quality Assurance, Risk Management in cross-functional projects. You will contribute to project deliveries and interact with the purchasing community from Buyers and SQEs to Managers and Vice-Presidents.

Your Challenges
  • Communicate project status to purchasing reference groups
  • Create initiatives and share success stories to engage people in the project
  • Provide supplier competencies to the project with the support of Purchasing segment leaders
What We Expect From You
  • 2+ years of working experience within the automotive industry
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • Understanding of Purchasing challenges and ability to support them
  • Ability to work on projects independently and as part of a team
  • Strong risk management skills and developed negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to bring business perspectives to the project
