As a member of the Telecom Department's Roaming team at Transatel, you will be responsible for implementing roaming agreements contracted by our teams. You will be the direct contact with the Roaming teams of international operators, ensuring the technical acceptance of the implementation of agreements for voice, SMS, and data components.
Key Responsibilities- Contact and dialogue with partner operator teams to ensure seamless implementation of roaming agreements.
- Organize technical implementations and validation test campaigns with your contacts to guarantee the quality of the agreements.
- Communicate to Transatel teams the parameters to be implemented, ensuring a smooth rollout of the agreements.
- Respond to requests from internal support teams on Roaming-related issues, providing timely and accurate solutions.
- Write requests to third-party operators to implement roaming agreements, ensuring compliance with our requirements.
- Maintain the technical repository of roaming agreements, ensuring up-to-date information and easy access for our teams.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a 5-year degree in engineering or a technical university course, and at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
The following skills are essential:
- Good knowledge of core network architecture and evaluation of UMTS Mobile Core Network products.
- Technical expertise on network nodes, including HSS, MME, DRA, IWF, SGW, and PGW.
- Expertise on the various signaling flows for mobile services provided in the UMTS CS/PS domains.
- Knowledge of signaling routing, including SIGTRAN and DIAMETER.
- Good interaction with external customers and internal teams.
- Fluent English is essential for this role.
