Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will oversee a testing stream within high-stakes projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and risk management protocols.
- Apply Murex's testing methodologies to client projects, including implementations and upgrades.
- Formulate and communicate the testing strategy to project managers and clients.
- Manage the testing process throughout the project lifecycle, including definition, design, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Identify potential quality risks and assess concerns raised by clients during the project, managing escalations promptly when necessary.
- Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the testing strategy for continuous improvement.
- Participate in the 'Build' phase, which includes monitoring test cases, proposing best practices, and coordinating test campaigns.
- Engage in customer validation processes, providing consulting on testing and automation, and preparing for validation stages such as data testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Support the deployment of the testing strategy at client sites, including environment management, configuration, incident handling, and progress reporting.
- Contribute to customer demonstrations, requests for proposals, and the estimation of testing activities.
- Assist in enhancing existing systems through change management, including evolving the roadmap for test automation tools.
- 2-3 years of experience in testing is essential.
- Proficiency in technical environments such as SQL, XML, and Unix is required.
- ISTQB certification is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies is expected.
- Functional knowledge of MX.3 is appreciated.
