Electrical Network Calculations Specialist

At Technip Energies, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Network Calculations Specialist to join our team. This role will be part of our Electricity Network Calculations section and will involve participating in international projects across our three product lines: 0-carbon solutions (Hydrogen, wind power, LNG, Sustainable Fuels).
The successful candidate will work on designing and dimensioning electrical networks for projects, as well as conducting related electrical calculations and simulations using ETAP/Powerfactory software.
About the Role- Model electrical networks to carry out electrical studies and calculate notes for load sharing, short-circuiting, motor starting, cable cross-section, harmonics, dynamic stability, flash arc, selectivity, and protection settings.
- Validate HV-HVA-LV protection schemes in liaison with electrical project managers.
- Coordinate technical aspects with electrical project managers and customers where applicable.
- Analyze Grid Code to perform HV/HVA connection studies for ENR projects (Offshore - Onshore wind farms, Photovoltaic power plants, H2+BESS production plant).
- Support the electrical section and department in monitoring changes in electrical calculation standards and enhancing technical skills of department members.
- A graduate of a leading engineering school, either generalist or specialized in electrical engineering, with at least 10 years' experience in electrical network calculations.
- Flexible, rigorous, and dynamic, with excellent team player skills and ability to thrive in multicultural environments.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable with basic office and IT tools.
- Mobile enough to travel in France and abroad.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €120,000 per annum, including bonus, profit-sharing, and a 100% transport card. We also provide a flexible teleworking arrangement of two days per week, preserving the balance between professional and private life.
