Are you ready to drive the purchasing strategy of a dynamic sector within a renowned organisation? DSJ Global is seeking a Supply Chain Management Leader with expertise in Air Freight and Logistics Procurement.

Your mission will be to oversee procurement functions related to transportation and logistics services on a global scale. You'll act as both strategist and negotiator - a driving force behind cost-effective sourcing while ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive category strategies addressing air freight, ocean freight & logistic needs.
  • Negotiate contracts that deliver value across price, service levels & supplier performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams worldwide.

Relevant Skills Explained:

  • Consumer Electronics Knowledge: Understanding market trends within this fast-paced industry ensures alignment between product demand cycles.
  • Air/Ocean Freight Expertise: Proficiency in these transport modes enables optimisation of shipping routes, cost efficiency, and standards compliance.
  • Logistics Acumen: Insight into end-to-end logistics processes supports effective planning, execution, inventory management, and distribution methodologies.
  • Procurement Mastery: Strong background in strategic and tactical buying practices leads to successful vendor relations, contract administration, spend analysis initiatives, and improvement efforts.
