Dickson, a global technology leader in environmental monitoring and compliance solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer and Business Intelligence (BI) specialist to join its finance department. As part of our digital transformation strategy, this key position will play a crucial role in improving the integration of our systems and strengthening our data analysis capabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Design, develop, and manage data integration processes between NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business applications to ensure seamless data flow and availability for analysis and reporting.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes for data extraction to produce accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with business requirements and reporting needs.
- Create, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Excel Dashboards, or other platforms.
- Work closely with the finance team and other departments to understand their data needs and propose tailored visualization solutions that align with their objectives.
- Establish dynamic reports summarizing financial and commercial indicators, enabling real-time monitoring of company performance.
Develop and implement strategies and systems to automate data collection and streamline reporting processes, reducing manual intervention and enhancing the accuracy and speed of reports.
Data Quality AssuranceGuarantee the quality, reliability, and security of integrated data by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures.
Support and TrainingProvide technical and functional support to finance teams and other departments, facilitating adoption of BI tools and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the analyses produced.
Requirements- 5-year degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role combining data integration and BI development assignments within a finance department or with an enterprise software solutions provider (ERP, CRM).
- Expertise in systems integration (ERP, CRM) and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of NetSuite-Oracle.
- Proficiency in relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL), including the development, maintenance, and optimization of SQL queries and data extraction processes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell).
- Ability to automate reporting processes and work with complex data pipelines.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel Dashboards) for dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake) is a plus.
- Excellent level of English.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented.
- Analytical skills and rigor.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
- Reliable and honest.
Permanent contract, "cadre" status, fixed day rate (215 days/year).
