Context:

The Common Application Development & B2E team operates within GEMS IS, catering to the IT requirements of various teams lacking dedicated development resources. Our mission is to enhance and digitalize the entire GEMS ecosystem, which involves incubating new initiatives and developing innovative solutions while maintaining existing systems.

Role:

As an IS Technical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement.
  • Educating team members on best practices such as agility, testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
  • Enhancing the quality of deliverables while ensuring development efficiency.
  • Leading legacy code refactoring initiatives.
  • Driving technical debt reduction efforts.

  • Engaging in all phases of project lifecycles as needed (architecture, development, support).
