About the Role
Nexans is seeking an experienced IS Solution & Infrastructure Architect to join our team in La Défense, Lyon, or Lens. As a key member of our Quality and Performance team, you will play a pivotal role in defining global solutions for the Nexans group.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve architecture study requests for IT projects
- Define the architecture and follow the implementation of IS/IT solutions for the Nexans Group's global applications and infrastructures worldwide
- Contribute to the execution of solutions as a technical reference, participate in the change management process, and assist in transition from project mode to operational status
- Ensure that the solutions maintain their technical reliability as time progresses, and share it with different experts within the IT department
- Stay updated about market solutions and contribute to technological monitoring
- Contribute to the overall IS/IT strategy
- Document existing solutions
- Maintain the architecture repository up to date
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience as an IS/IT architect
- General knowledge of IS/IT infrastructures (data centers, cloud, workstations, security, identity, network, telecom, collaboration, databases, etc.)
- Proficiency in standard market architectures
- Experience in an international, multicultural, and multi-site context
- Fluent in French and English
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and pragmatic
- Curiosity and innovation
- Autonomy and initiative
- Ability to simplify technical concepts
- Ability to have a high-level and low-level vision and adapt the discourse according to different stakeholders
- Knowledge and interest in the industrial sector
- Proficiency in the Mega Hopex tool
