Innovation Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Innovation Data Engineer to join our Process Innovation team based in our Innovation Center in Grenoble, France.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions based on cutting-edge technologies and solving practical problems. Your main work will be to understand complex cases, conduct thorough investigations with versatile resources, and turn solutions and technologies from either a lab or concept into real production with support from supervisors.
You will focus on quality, efficiency, and unmanned topics to make Verkor a strong, competitive battery manufacturer.
Main responsibilities:- Problem Identification and Simplification: Identify problems, simplify them, and summarize them into an engineering model with support from experts.
- Requirements and Investigation: Define requirements, investigate potential solutions, clarify goals for each task, develop a roadmap of the whole solution, research available approaches, classify technical routes, analyze risks, and ROI.
- Design and Validation: Propose concepts, draw a whole solution, provide a design of experiments (DoE) of your design, select required components and software, initiate purchase or self-develop for core functionalities, verify feasibility, and offer a deployable solution for production lines.
- Reporting and Support: Report progress and results of the studies to other Verkor departments.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a similar discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience working with AI and innovation projects, with industrialization experience being mandatory.
- Experience in Agile-based software development is required.
- Mandatory knowledge of SQL, MySQL databases.
- All necessary techniques for data mining, such as data extraction, feature engineering, etc.
- Proficiency in machine learning techniques, including DL&RL.
- Strong knowledge of Scikit-learn, Pandas, and familiarity with at least one DL framework, such as PyTorch, Keras, etc.
- R, & Matlab knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Python, C++.
- Knowledge of time series forecasting techniques.
- Good learning skills.
