About Technip Energies Paris:
Within the Technip Energies framework, the Paris Operating Center is recognized as the hub of excellence and expertise. The Process and Technologies Division engages in diverse areas, including low-carbon energy production technologies (such as Liquefied Natural Gas), biofuels, synthetic fuels, plastics recycling, carbon capture and sequestration, green hydrogen, and other low-carbon or carbon-neutral energy carriers.

Job Purpose :
The Project Study Lead is tasked with:
Overseeing project management for initiatives at the feasibility stage, engaging a limited number of engineering disciplines.Taking full responsibility for delivering the project, which includes the clear formulation of conceptual designs, feasibility assessments, and preliminary cost evaluations within established budget and timeline constraints.
Job Accountabilities :
Directly managing multiple feasibility stages in the domains of CO2 capture, Green Hydrogen, or Ammonia production (both blue and green). The Project Study Lead typically dedicates half of their time to managing feasibility studies, concurrently leading two studies. Responsible for client relations, supported by the execution team. Accountable for project financials, including monitoring manhours across all disciplines, client billing, and preparation of Variation Orders and ICPOs when applicable. Overseeing study schedules, discipline mobilization, and coordination, along with maintaining a deliverables register. Ensuring technical consistency among disciplines (usually involving process leads, cost estimation leads, and layout specialists) and approving reports and deliverables. Organizing internal stakeholder reviews and workshops/reviews with clients (including regular meetings). Occasionally assisting in proposal preparation or supporting process activities on projects based on workload related to study management. Regularly reporting on progress, status, and issues to the department head.Profile:
A minimum of 15 years of experience, with:
A technical background in process engineering at a senior or lead level, ideally related to Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, or Ammonia technologies. Experience interfacing with clients. A proactive, self-motivated approach aimed at achieving predefined targets and objectives. A results-oriented mindset: accountable, determined to excel, capable of leading change, customer-focused, and an active listener. Leadership qualities: leads with confidence, respects and empowers others, mentors, and develops team members. A commitment to a Lean, Fit for Purpose approach.
