About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior System Administrator at Gaming Innovation Group. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Identify and report any issues to the teams, ensuring credibility and effective communication.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement improvements in our production environment, including managing improvements and handling communication related to them.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Actively work on structuring projects, identifying improvements for our productions through proactive monitoring to anticipate problems.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in different Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, etc.), systems architecture, and management of virtualized and cloud environments (Nutanix, Proxmox).
  • Monitoring Tools: Very good knowledge of monitoring tools Nagios, Grafana.
  • Web Environment Experience: Experience in task responsibilities (from start to finish) in WEB environments (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Squid).
  • High Availability: Experience in high availability environments and high traffic websites, including balancing, DB cluster.
  • Metrics and Optimization: Identify and produce metrics to continuously optimize performance.
  • Network and Communications: Firewall management, VPNs.
  • Incident Management: Experience in incident management web platforms.
  • Database Management: Knowledge on databases MySQL with replication master/slave.
  • Automation: Automation with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Programming Languages: Familiar with Java and also PHP/Symphony web application administration.
  • Security: Security, server protection, WAF, AntiDDOS, vulnerability scanning and monitoring.
  • Autonomy and Methodology: Good autonomy level and experience in ISO/ ITIL methodological environments.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French is mandatory and strong English communication skills.
