Overview

Transatel, a global leader in cellular connectivity solutions and MVNO aggregation, seeks a skilled Telecom Network Operations Specialist to drive innovation and efficiency within our IT architecture. This role is pivotal in driving business growth and excellence.

Salary Package

The salary package consists of a fixed salary, individual bonus, half-yearly profit-sharing, and incentive schemes (investable in PEE or PER). Salary committees take place every 6 months.

Job Description

This dynamic position involves leading the development and maintenance of our data warehouse for optimal data management and reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Warehouse Development and Operations: Lead the development and maintenance of our data warehouse to ensure optimal data management and reporting.
  • Machine Learning for Predictive Analytics: Utilize expertise in machine learning to develop and manage predictive models that enhance telecom services.
  • Microsoft Power Automate Flows: Design and operate workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, streamlining business processes and increasing automation.
  • API Integration: Bridge the gap between diverse tools and environments by creating seamless API integrations, fostering data flow and interoperability.
  • Data Visualization Dashboards: Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards providing actionable insights for telecom operations.
  • Technical Incident Diagnostics: Conduct thorough diagnostics and provide diligent follow-up on technical incidents within our IT architecture.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with technical platform suppliers, mobile operators, and Transatel's technical teams to resolve technical incidents efficiently.
  • Effective Communication: Be the point of contact for communicating service incidents to both customers and suppliers, ensuring transparency and timely resolution.
  • Configuration of Telecom Services: Take charge of configuring telecom services and platforms, including pricing plan modifications, launching new MVNO offers, and provisioning services effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a higher education diploma or degree in Data Science, AI, Big Data, or an IT-related field, with a successful track record in an NOC operator (preferably Core Mobile) or IT support.

  • Techincal Skills: Exhibit proficiency in various technical skills, including databases (SQL, MySQL, MariaDB), Big Data and Data Science tools (Kafka, Spark, Spark SQL, PySpark, Hadoop, MapReduce, Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Factory), programming languages and tools (JavaScript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Anaconda, Linux/Unix, Virtualization, Git, GitHub, Scala, ElasticSearch, Kibana, VS Code, TensorFlow, Keras, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Microsoft Power Automate Desktop and Cloud, API Integration, JSON, XML, Kubernetes and/or Dockers, JIRA, Microsoft Azure).
  • Framework Familiarity: Be well-versed in ITIL and/or eTOM, PMP, Agile project management frameworks, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Soft Skills: Possess excellent communication, teamwork, organization, intrapreneurship, creativity, and innovation skills, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and French mandatory.

  • Fixed salary range: €60,000 - €80,000 per year based on experience.
  • Individual bonus: Up to 25% of annual salary.

  • Up to 2 days' homeworking, 25 days' holiday + a few free days.
