About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Naval Group, specializing in naval simulation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the realization of calculations and numerical simulations for the justification of ship and equipment design.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulations using scientific calculations
- Produce justification documents for design and industrialization
- Lead and coordinate R&D studies in your area of expertise
- Contribute to project realization in collaboration with system, subsystem, and functional transverse managers
- Manage and develop calculation and simulation tools (choice of tools, definition of calculation methods, qualification of calculation procedures, creation of business modules)
- Contribute to the establishment of the group's business reference framework
- Evaluate the electrical consumption of ships based on thermal balance with system engineers
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in naval simulation. You should have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the industrial sector.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, conversion, and machines
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab/Simulink, VBA, and Python
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
