About the Role
As an Operational Security Engineer at Groupe Pichet, you will be instrumental in enforcing security protocols, overseeing security incidents, and identifying irregularities. Collaborating closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), your duties will encompass:
- Establishing security protocols
- Assisting in the formulation of security policies,
- Keeping abreast of threat intelligence pertinent to the organization’s vulnerabilities,
- Engaging in technical staff training,
- Supporting incident response strategies,
- Developing security performance indicators and reporting to IT and CISO teams.
- Engaging in infrastructure security initiatives
- Ensuring technological coherence and compliance with security standards in IT initiatives,
- Supervising the deployment of security protection tools (SOC advancements, log centralization, vulnerability assessments, DLP, EDR, SIEM, etc.),
- Defining technical measures to incorporate security into system architectures.
- Overseeing security incidents and responses
- Managing the outsourced Security Operations Center (SOC) and incident response workflows,
- Directing incident resolution efforts in accordance with established response protocols,
- Evaluating security incidents, generating technical documentation, and recommending enhancements to security posture.
- Ensuring adherence to information security standards
- Overseeing outsourced IT security evaluations,
- Configuring security tools to detect technical security discrepancies (vulnerabilities, non-compliance),
- Prioritizing and organizing remediation efforts,
- Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of system hardening practices.
Your Qualifications
With a Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 5 years of experience in offensive and/or defensive security, you should possess familiarity with security tools and automation (Python/PowerShell). Strong analytical capabilities, independence, and excellent communication skills are essential. Emphasizing user awareness, technical expertise, and strategic foresight are critical for this position.
