Role Responsibilities:
The Junior Professorship is designed to consolidate and advance research on Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) across IMT's schools, enhancing shared research facilities and integrating diverse expertise. This position aims to elevate IMT's international standing in IEQ through both research and educational initiatives, including the development of an international master's program.
The goal is to establish a European network focused on this emerging research area, responding to societal needs and engaging with public authorities and socio-economic stakeholders.
Research Focus:
The scientific strategy will involve experimental research and comprehensive data analysis, covering various aspects of IEQ such as materials, construction, ventilation, and exposure evaluation. The Junior Professorship will also facilitate collaboration with other academics, enhancing synergy between research and teaching, particularly through the international Master's degree in Engineering of Sustainable and Healthy Built Environment.
Expected Contributions:
1. Support the development and promotion of the international Master's program.
2. Engage in teaching and mentoring Master's students.
3. Collaborate within national and international research projects with academic and industrial partners.
Qualifications:
- PhD in building physics, physical chemistry of indoor environments, or indoor environmental quality.
- Proficiency in English and French for effective communication in both languages.
