We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an ALTERNANT Exploitation transport.
About the Role:The Operating Agent will be responsible for carrying out administrative and operational tasks in direct contact with the line manager to provide a service that meets customer expectations and encourages customer loyalty.
The role will involve:
- Establishing quotations for additional services not taken into account in the initial proposal
- Recording customer orders, contract review, and control of the offering
- Negotiating and placing orders with suppliers approved by the Group
- Monitoring the smooth running of the service and keeping the customer informed
- Maintaining a genuine commercial approach and being attentive to the customer
- Controlling the quality of customer/agent relations in compliance with contracts
- Establishing and updating customer files specific to each type of traffic
- Recording operational anomalies and any complaints and dealing with them within the limits of your responsibilities
- Preparing invoicing or pre-invoicing, and issuing invoices according to the defined process, then closing the file after carrying out an overall check of the service provided to the customer
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations (including hazardous materials) by integrating environmental and safety requirements into the choice and selection of suppliers
- Mastery and control of proper performance of the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment rules: operating procedure, documentation, etc. relating to your duties
- Compliance with the confidentiality requirements of your position
- Participation in the team's administrative activities (classification, archiving, sending of documents, etc.)
- Being the single point of contact for one or more specific customers
- Lan and organizing drivers' work
- Determining technical solutions allowing the transport of goods
- Ensuring the smooth delivery of goods
- Managing the vehicle fleet
- Adapting activities for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training
