Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in France & Iberia. As a key member of our regulatory team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strategic advice to our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our business stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and develop effective regulatory strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory developments in France and Iberia, providing timely and accurate advice to our business teams.
  • Review and provide input on relevant policy processes and public consultations, ensuring that our business interests are represented.
  • Provide legal review of product labels, ingredients, and marketing collateral, ensuring smooth regulatory compliance.
  • Represent our company to government, political, and industry stakeholders, building strong relationships and promoting our strategic interests.
  • Collaborate with external advisors on relevant legal and advocacy tasks, ensuring timely and cost-efficient use of external consultants.
  • Assist our business teams with internal and external inquiries related to products and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Align with our Regulatory & Government Affairs Counsel Europe on key tasks, strategies, and approaches, and collaborate with European colleagues on the same.
Requirements
  • Bac+5 or equivalent, from a recognized university in a government relations-related discipline (i.e., Law, Political Science, Public Affairs, International Relations).
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to interact at a high government level and under pressure.
  • Results-driven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a high-importance, fast-paced dynamic regulatory environment.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations and other educational tools to train our business teams.
  • Effective relationship building and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize dynamic workload and effectively meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Result-oriented and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High resilience and high degree of flexibility, willingness and ready to travel on short notice.
