Real Assets Investment Opportunity

At AXA IM, we are committed to investing for human progress by actively and responsibly managing our assets. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex issues related to real estate asset management.

About the Role

The Real Estate Asset Management team is based across Europe, with a focus on managing a portfolio of assets in Offices, Retail, Logistics, Residential, and Hotels. As an intern, you will assist the Asset Managers and contribute to the definition and implementation of the best value creation strategy for some assets based on business necessity.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze all relevant and up-to-date asset level data/documentation (technical, legal, tax, and commercial data)
• Implement financial models (DCF)
• Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the asset budget in coordination with asset managers or asset operators
• Organize real estate appraisal campaigns
• Monitor asset key performance indicators and contribute to investor reporting
• Participate in the follow-up of tenant relations and any disputes
• Contribute to the implementation of the marketing and rental strategy
• Contribute to the monitoring of renovation or development programs in coordination with internal and/or external players
• Assist in the preparation of disposals (data room, valuation, calls for tenders, etc.)
• Provide analytical and presentation support on ad hoc topics
• Participate in cross-functional missions under the direction of one of the members of the management team

Requirements

• Postgraduate studies in Finance, Management, Engineering, or Real Estate
• Proven interest in real estate (any previous internship within asset management or with a focus on real estate would be considered as a plus)
• Accomplished interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team in an international and matrix environment
• Autonomous, initiative, entrepreneurial, and result-driven culture
• Strong analytical and synthesis capacity
• Verbal and written communications and presentation skills
• Creative thinking, capability to develop innovative solutions
• Fluent in English
