Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, commissioning, and revamping services at customer sites in the South-West region of France.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out service assignments at customer sites, either face-to-face or remotely.
  2. Provide technical assistance, commissioning, and revamping services at customer sites.
  3. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance operations on equipment in accordance with service contracts.
  4. Contribute to customer loyalty by making technical proposals to improve operations and customer service.
  5. Contribute to the development of sales by identifying new business opportunities with customers in the geographical area.
  6. Ensure on-call and contractual services for customers under contract.
  7. Comply with safety rules and regulations (ABB and customer sites) and applicable procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bac+2 CIRA, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years' experience in industry (maintenance, etc.).
  • Desired knowledge of instrumentation, control and regulation, industrial computing, and automation.
  • English: good level required (written/oral).
  • Teamwork, collaboration, autonomy, and commercial skills.
  • Willingness to travel in Mimizan, the South-West region, and occasionally other regions.
