About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Coordination Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our railway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to Region throughout the Tender process, focusing on construction methodology and scheduling.
  • Develop a suitable sequence of works and tender methodology, ensuring seamless transfer into tender project schedules.
  • Assist Bid planning managers in preparing first-time chainage estimates for main activities.
  • Coordinate with product lines to perform estimations using homogenous and validated assumptions.
  • Collaborate with construction partners to coordinate activities and phasing.
  • Support the narrative explanation of schedules from a technical perspective.
Project Support
  • Offer support to Region during early stages of project mobilization, focusing on construction staging, sequencing, and phasing.
  • Monitor construction activities and ensure coordination between Alstom entities and civil/construction teams.
  • Perform peer reviews with the OPC team/construction team to evaluate maturity and identify areas for improvement.
Performance Measurement
  • Ensure on-time delivery for each bid, including overall method statements and construction requirements.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven experience in construction coordination on railway projects.
  • Strong knowledge of railway systems, projects, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with scheduling methods and tools, including Time Chainage and MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in team management and leadership.
