Cloud Solutions Engineer

At Hardis Group, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Cloud Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our Cloud services portfolio. Your focus will be on ensuring adherence to industry best practices while providing support to various teams in deploying effective solutions. Your work will encompass a wide range of sectors, including finance, public administration, small and medium enterprises, and community services.

As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and enforcing development best practices that incorporate DevOps methodologies, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment techniques.
  • Implementing security protocols related to Cloud Native applications, including Image Hardening and Key Management.
  • Designing and executing innovative solutions that utilize the strengths of public Cloud platforms.
  • Facilitating the successful execution of Cloud adoption initiatives from initial planning through to transition to support teams.
  • Ensuring project documentation and defining architectural standards.
  • Providing assistance to implementation teams and aiding in troubleshooting efforts.

Candidate Profile

You should possess a degree in computer science and have at least two years of experience in developing Cloud Native applications. Your expertise should include:

  • DevSecOps and FinOps methodologies
  • Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, etc.)
  • Microservices architecture
  • Event Streaming principles
  • Infrastructure as Code practices (Terraform, Vault, etc.)
  • Familiarity with GCP services such as IAM, App Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, and StackDriver.

Your strong analytical and listening skills, combined with a problem-solving mindset, will enable you to grasp the challenges faced by our clients and offer effective solutions.

Holding Google Cloud Platform certifications is preferred, while AWS or Azure certifications would be an added advantage.
