Currently, Silae employs 400 professionals across various locations in France.
What Will You Work On?
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to enhance the teams focused on Silae's digitalization products (eDocPerso, DeskRH, eDocSign, etc.). These solutions aim to simplify processes for accountants, their clients, and employees by securely distributing payslips through a GDPR-compliant digital platform.
For instance, we have nearly 3,000,000 eDocPerso safes utilized by employees throughout France.
The digitalization team in Nantes comprises 3 Cloud Engineers (with increasing collaboration with the Ops teams of other Silae products), 6 back-end Scala developers, 2 front-end developers, 1 engineering manager, and 1 project manager. As part of the Ops team working on digitalization, you will be engaged in a significant migration project from OBS to Azure.
Role Overview:
- Collaborate within a small team of skilled Cloud Engineers
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure platforms
- Create automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency
- Work alongside software development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications
- Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure and VMWare
- Establish and oversee CI/CD pipelines for continuous software delivery
- Implement effective monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS) or virtualization technologies (VMware or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and security best practices
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with at least one Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Proficient in Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Services, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in English
Desirable Skills:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (RHCA/RHCE/CCNA or similar)
- Cloud certifications (Azure/GCP/AWS)
- Automation mindset
- Characterized by autonomy, curiosity, and a passion for technology; capable of taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion
- Self-organized with strong prioritization and multitasking skills
- Adept at fostering cooperative working relationships and promoting teamwork
