Opportunity at Our New Unit in Pas de Calais
We are establishing a specialized unit in the Pas de Calais region focused on supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), mental disabilities, or severe neurodevelopmental disorders. These individuals may exhibit challenging behaviors that require specialized attention and management.
Our Mission: Empowering Integration and Growth
The unit's primary objective is to empower these individuals to successfully integrate into community life. We achieve this by implementing evidence-based strategies to manage challenging behaviors, foster new learning opportunities, and promote personal growth. Our approach emphasizes a transitional phase, with the duration of support tailored to each individual's progress and achievements.
Your Role: A Dedicated Support Professional
- Ensure Well-being and Safety: Provide compassionate and attentive care to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of individuals in our unit.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, caregivers, and medical professionals, to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Personalized Support: Assist individuals with daily activities, respecting their preferences and fostering independence whenever possible.
- Structured Activities and Learning: Participate in the planning and organization of structured activities that promote cognitive development, social skills, and personal enrichment.
- Progress Monitoring and Evaluation: Contribute to ongoing assessments of individual functioning and behaviors, providing valuable insights for program adjustments and improvement.
Qualifications We Seek:
- A degree in Support and Social Education or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with ASD, mental disabilities, or severe neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Familiarity with evidence-based tools and techniques for neurodevelopmental support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
