We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Actuary/Data Scientist to join our Group Chief Underwriting Office as a key contributor to our Pricing Models and Analytics remit. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing models, analytics, and data-driven strategies to drive profitable growth and improve underwriting excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain pricing models, platforms, and analytics to support underwriting and pricing decisions
- Collaborate with underwriting, pricing, and data science teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies
- Contribute to the development of predictive modeling capabilities to support pricing and underwriting
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in pricing and data science
- Proven experience in insurance pricing and data science, with a strong understanding of actuarial concepts
- Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, as well as experience with data visualization tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems
- Fluent English language skills
