Microsoft Workstation Systems Apprentice Engineer

As a Microsoft Workstation Systems Apprentice Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting over 40,000 workstations across France. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation and security of our IT infrastructure.
- Package Development & Deployment: You will collaborate with business units to create customized software packages tailored to their specific needs. This includes testing these packages rigorously to ensure compatibility and functionality.
- Cybersecurity Patch Management: A key aspect of your role will involve deploying monthly Microsoft security patches across all workstations. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining a robust cybersecurity posture.
- Incident Response & Support: You will contribute to the resolution of workstation-related incidents, providing timely and effective support to end users. This includes troubleshooting technical issues and collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement solutions.
- Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: You will actively participate in knowledge transfer initiatives, sharing your expertise with colleagues and contributing to a culture of continuous learning within the team.
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in computer science principles, excellent written communication skills in both French and English, and a solid understanding of Windows workstations, SQL, TSQL, and PowerShell scripting. Your analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork orientation will be invaluable assets.
