We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for independently performing structural design and analysis, supervising structural engineers, and managing project design reviews.
You will create, review, and approve technical engineering documents, provide sound engineering advice on subsea structural analysis and design, and ensure technical compliance and quality. Additionally, you will lead a group of designers and engineers, mentor and manage a team of engineers & designers, and instruct and interface with designers and engineers to ensure quality of structural drawings.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of engineering practices, design methods & calculations, experience in mentoring, leading a team of engineers & delivering projects, and experience in structural steel design preferably in Offshore and Subsea field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform structural design and analysis
- Supervise structural engineers performing structural engineering design and analysis
- Manage project design reviews and constructability reviews
- Provide sound engineering advice on subsea structural analysis and design
- Ensure technical compliance and quality
- Lead a group of designers and engineers
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers & designers
- Instruct and interface with designers and engineers
- Attend meetings with project teams and interface with clients
Requirements:
- Sound understanding of engineering practices, design methods & calculations
- Experience in mentoring, leading a team of engineers & delivering projects
- Experience in structural steel design preferably in Offshore and Subsea field
