As a prospective Lead Cybersecurity Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Cybersecurity Operations and be an integral part of the AXA IM Technology - Infrastructure team.
The Cybersecurity Operations team offers specialized knowledge to stakeholders, facilitating a risk-oriented approach while supporting critical initiatives for both project and routine operations.
In this setting, the convergence of cybersecurity and project management presents distinct challenges and opportunities. It necessitates a cybersecurity professional who not only comprehends cybersecurity principles but also integrates them into the project management lifecycle.

1- Technology and Information Security Projects (Primary Mission)
- Assist Technology-facing teams with their support and project initiatives by providing cybersecurity expertise and engineering on technological solutions, while leading cybersecurity operations related activities within project squads.
- As new services are conceptualized or modifications are made to existing platforms, drive projects to realize the intended outcomes within the scope of delivered services. Develop essential controls and processes to uphold operational risk, business continuity planning, and IT security considerations.
- Collaborate with the team to devise innovative cybersecurity solutions. Manage the end-of-life and obsolescence of platforms and cybersecurity solutions in alignment with AXA IM Technology strategy. Ensure that the impacts of new solutions are evaluated and consistent with the existing technology framework and architectural patterns. Lead technical projects to implement and deploy these new cybersecurity solutions, including project streams within the SMART program.
- Incorporate security into the development and lifecycle of projects to enhance and optimize the Security Policy.
- Ensure that project, infrastructure, application, and third-party risks are systematically and appropriately assessed.
- Guarantee Operational Security by implementing IT processes, enhancing existing procedures, and documenting both.
- Evaluate, challenge, and review the criticality of vulnerabilities to provide risk-based insights useful for business stakeholders (DPO, workplace, etc.).
- Ensure the implementation of follow-up actions for remediation post-assessment.
- Support project and business stakeholders regarding identified deficiencies and necessary remediations.
- Contribute to improving and optimizing the efficiency of control activities by collaborating closely with all relevant stakeholders.
- Business enabler: adopt a practical approach to assist the business securely.
a. Security
- Adhere to company guidelines and regulations to ensure that company data is securely maintained, whether in electronic form or written format.
- Report any security issues or potential breaches as necessary to ensure that any potential risks are mitigated.
- In alignment with the Information System Security policy and guidelines, develop and implement processes that ensure level 1 controls are established, executed, and monitored.
- Deliver security projects aimed at safeguarding the overall infrastructure, in accordance with AXA Group policy.
- Assist with IT audits as required and manage the rectification of any audit deficiencies within agreed timelines.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the team to deploy new services in a value-added and cost-effective manner for the business.

Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or substantial experience in similar technical IT management roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in information security.
- Experience with information risk management and risk analysis is essential.
- Certifications in Information Security and/or Information Technology (CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, GIAC or equivalent) are highly preferred.
- Experience in an advisory capacity on IT security for business projects is a plus.
- Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships is essential.
- Client focus is a vital asset; act as the business advocate for locally delivered services in a service-oriented manner.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
- Organized with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of effectively engaging with diverse skill sets and personalities, and working collaboratively as a team player.
- Strong communication and awareness skills are required to effectively challenge technical experts (IT administrators, pentesters, developers, cloud engineers, etc.), support the business in understanding security challenges, and inform senior management about emerging security risks/threats in a clear and concise manner.
- Broad security knowledge across technical domains: network security, system security, application security, cloud security, etc.
- Expertise in cloud, blockchain, and AI is strongly recommended.
- Able to articulate security challenges and recommendations to non-IT stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively within a matrix structure.
- Proven facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong teamwork capabilities.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; working knowledge of French is preferred.
