About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our global supplier network, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our purchased parts and driving our suppliers towards premium automotive quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for our suppliers, ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of supplier facilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to suppliers on quality management systems and processes.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, including APQP and PPAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel frequently, with a valid driver's license.
