**Nuclear Waste Treatment Operator** - Full-time opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for the management and transportation of nuclear waste at the facility.
  • Gather, categorize, and package radioactive materials generated on-site.
  • Manage radioactive waste containers and conduct radiation assessments.
  • Ensure comprehensive traceability of waste throughout its entire lifecycle.
  • Execute decontamination procedures and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory of operational equipment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of radiological waste management protocols.
  • Understanding of the importance of equipment calibrations.
  • Proficient in waste sorting and characterization techniques.
  • Ability to implement waste sorting in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Capable of safely managing waste storage hazards.
  • Possess CACES 3 and ground crane operator certifications.
