The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead production within our Flood Risk and Water Resource department. This dynamic team consists of 20 engineers specializing in hydraulic studies, particularly upstream projects.
Your Role: Shaping the Future of Water Management
- Technical Expertise: Contribute your expertise in hydrological and hydraulic modeling, flood protection master plans, vulnerability reduction to flood risk, cost-benefit analysis, flood warning systems, emergency plans, hazard studies, water resource studies, and climate change adaptation.
- Project Leadership: Supervise a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical contributions and deliverables. Validate technical work and present findings to clients in clear and concise technical discussions.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Seamlessly coordinate production efforts with other entities and partners, providing regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Business Development: Actively participate in tender responses and bids, showcasing our capabilities and securing new projects.
Qualifications: Your Background Matters
- Master's Degree in Hydraulic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the water resources sector.
- In-depth understanding of French and international regulations governing water management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration within multi-project environments.
- Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic software tools.
Travel Requirements: This role may require occasional national and international travel.
