Position Overview

Anaplan is on the lookout for a driven Principal Business Value & Strategy Consultant. This role is essential in developing strategic planning frameworks and roadmaps for our premier global clients. The emphasis is on meaningful customer engagement and crafting resources that assist clients in their journey towards connected planning. The consultant will work collaboratively across various Anaplan departments, leading planning transformations in finance, supply chain, sales, and workforce planning tailored to specific sectors. Additionally, the consultant will advise clients on best practices and the value derived from these transformations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation of strategic visions and roadmaps with select clients, producing high-level documentation for executive utilization to drive business outcomes.
  • Generate insights and materials to enhance Anaplan's narrative on business transformation and its implications.
  • Develop scalable resources to elevate customer interactions across Anaplan.

Your Impact

  • Research and Discovery: Conduct and facilitate comprehensive research to understand client business processes, industry trends, and perform business value assessments.
  • Consulting and Facilitation: Spearhead visioning, transformation, and value assessment consulting sessions with clients, including analyzing these sessions and delivering impactful, executive-level narratives and presentations to C-suite executives, in partnership with Anaplan's Sales and Presales teams.
  • Relationship Building: Forge strong connections with regional sales leaders to enhance strategic account planning and engagements.
  • Team Development: Contribute to the growth and advancement of the Business Value & Strategy team's capabilities.
  • Influence and Delivery: Persuade internal and external stakeholders to adopt a value-centric discovery process and deliver consistent, high-level business value outcomes.
  • Asset Management: Actively engage in the creation and management of resource libraries, including value frameworks, maturity models, and other tools to scale the team's influence across the organization.

Your Qualifications

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in strategy consulting, value selling, and managing relationships with Fortune 500 accounts within cloud application environments.
  • Expertise: Profound understanding of Planning & Analysis in both financial and operational business processes.
  • Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to lead complex problem-solving sessions with senior executives.
  • Influence and Insight: Proficient in providing valuable insights and influencing both internal go-to-market teams and external clients.
  • Analytical Ability: Capable of conducting both qualitative and quantitative analyses to support targeted opportunities.
  • GTM Strategy: Experience in developing and continuously enhancing a go-to-market strategy practice.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.
