About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Projects Engineer to join our team at BOURBON. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and engineering deliverables related to subsea projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of structural analysis and design calculations for subsea installations, including seafastening, lifting, and vessel modifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and interface management.
- Review and approve structural engineering documentation, including calculations, reports, and studies.
- Provide technical support to project teams, including mobilization, demobilization, equipment fabrication, and offshore work.
- Manage Graduate Trainees and ensure their development and growth within the company.
- Oversee the technical aspects of project management, including financial and technical success.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and third parties to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as naval architecture or structural engineering.
- Expertise in offshore standards related to structural analysis (AISC, API DNV, etc.).
- Proficiency in structural software, such as Ansys or equivalent.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
