QHSE Site Manager – Renewable Energy Projects (M/F) France – Solar / Wind / Grid / Offshore Construction Sites Renewable Energy – Health, Safety, Quality & Environment About the Company Our client is a leading energy infrastructure and renewable construction company, active across Europe in the design and delivery of solar farms, wind parks, high-voltage substations, and offshore grid connections. To strengthen its growing HSE department, the company is hiring a QHSE Site Manager to ensure compliance, safety, and environmental excellence across its renewable energy construction sites. Main Responsibilities Reporting to the Project Director or Construction Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining QHSE standards across one or more sites: Deploy and monitor the company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) policy on-site. Conduct risk assessments and ensure full compliance with local and international regulations. Prepare and manage HSE documentation: H&S plans, risk registers, method statements, and audits. Supervise contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with site rules and permits. Lead incident investigations and drive corrective / preventive actions. Promote safety awareness and training among site teams and subcontractors. Ensure HSE reporting to the management and clients. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 certifications. Profile Degree in QHSE / Safety / Environment / Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 4–8+ years of experience in HSE management for construction, energy, oil & gas, or renewable projects. Solid understanding of French and EU HSE regulations and construction site standards. Experience in renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects (solar, wind, grid, offshore) preferred. Relevant certifications appreciated: ISO 45001, MASE, NEBOSH, GWO, SST, H0B0, ATEX. Strong leadership, communication, and field presence. Mobility across France (and occasionally within Europe). Fluent in English (French is a plus). Compensation & Benefits Salary range: €55,000 – €85,000 / year + site bonuses + benefits. Permanent contract (CDI) – Company car or travel allowance. Site rotation schedule with rest periods or hybrid work when off-site. Continuous training and development in HSE & renewable standards. Why Join?
