A rare opportunity for an Austrian, German or Swiss qualified lawyer with deep knowledge of Liechtenstein legal structures, private wealth vehicles, fiduciary arrangements, and cross-border asset holding frameworks to join a top tier family office. The role will be based in Monaco and will necessitate relocation to the principality. It will report directly to the Head of Family Office.The role requires an all-rounder with strong expertise across corporate, fiduciary, trust/foundation law, private client, tax-adjacent matters, asset-holding structuring, and dispute management, with a focus on advising UHNW families and international private offices.Key responsibilities include structuring and governance of asset-holding vehicles, legal advisory to the principal and family office leadership, transactional support and asset acquisitions, regulatory, AML and compliance, litigation dispute, contracting and internal legal operations.Qualifications required:· Qualified Austrian or German Rechtsanwalt, or equivalent EU-qualified lawyer;· Minimum 12 years’ PQE in private client, corporate, international private wealth, or fiduciary practice;· Deep knowledge and experience working with Liechtenstein foundations, trusts, fiduciary structures, and private wealth vehicles;· Proven experience in family offices, UHNW advisory, or offshore/onshore hybrid structuring;· Litigation experience;· In-depth understanding of:o Liechtenstein Stifungen, Trusts, Anstalten, AG/GmbH structures;o Austrian and German corporate and civil law;o AML, CRS, FATCA risk-based compliance frameworks;o Transfer pricing, economic substance;· Strong drafting skills in German and English;· Law degree from a recognised university (Austria, Germany, Switzerland preferred);· Other qualifications such as LLM in International business law and STEP preferred.Compensation will be highly competitive.
