Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their Mission Critical team working on hyperscale and colocation data centre projects across Europe. These projects are high-value, technically challenging, and ongoing for the next 5+ years, offering fantastic long-term career potential. This company see their employees as their most important resource and encourage full involvement in order to develop their abilities for the benefit of the individual and company. This role offers a clear pathway to senior engineering and leadership positions, with ongoing professional development, chartership support, and training funded by the company. Package offered for this Electrical Engineer role: · Salary: €55,000 - €70,000 (depending on experience) · Benefits: Hybrid working, 25+ days holiday, enhanced pension scheme, private healthcare, professional membership support Key responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer role: · Reporting into the Electrical Director. · Supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centres, including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and lighting · Preparing technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit or similar software · Coordinating with mechanical, structural and fire teams to deliver fully integrated solutions · Attending client meetings and design reviews, presenting technical information clearly and confidently · Supporting commissioning activities and providing technical input during construction · Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and Tier classifications (Tier III/Tier IV) Experience required for this Electrical Engineer role: · Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline · Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is desirable · Proven experience in the design of electrical systems, ideally in data centres, critical facilities, or complex building services projects · Good knowledge of relevant standards (BS7671, IEC, NFPA etc.) · Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar · Strong communication and problem-solving skills
